The first speakers Philip Thai (Northeastern) and Peter Thilly (Mississippi) will discuss China’s War on Smuggling: Law, Economic Life, and the Making of the Modern State, 1842–1965 on Thursday, May 21 9:00-10:30 EST to accommodate audiences in the Americas and Asia.
